Newcastle, NSW

Where are you from?

I was born and bred in Tamworth, NSW. I then flew the coup to Bathurst for a couple of years before ending up in the beautiful Newcastle.

Where did you study?

I have been on a bit of a journey with my studies. Originally on the path to become a Physiotherapist, I got my Bachelors degree in Exercise and Sport Science through Charles Sturt University in Bathurst.

Once I finished this degree, I realised that I love connecting with people on a deeper level and decided to jump ship to Psychology.

Through the University of Newcastle, I have a Graduate Diploma in Psychological Science and am currently completing an Honours degree in Psychology.

What is your role with Eucalypt OT?

I am the Business Manager of Eucalypt OT. My role is to support Holly in ensuring our amazing team and our beautiful clients have a positive and fulfilling experience throughout their journey with us.

What made you want to work with Eucalypt OT?

Our director, Holly. In both a personal and professional capacity, Holly has always been a role model for the type of person I want to be. She will always do what is right over what is easy, and that is exactly who I have always wanted to work for. So when the opportunity to join the Eucalypt OT team came along, I felt as though the universe had read my mind - it was the fastest yes I have ever had the honour in giving.

What do you love most about your job?

I love to help and I love to learn. Being Business Manager for Eucalypt OT allows me to do both on a daily basis. I feel very fulfilled having the opportunity to support all those involved in the making of Eucalypt OT, especially since I get to have lots of fun and connect with such a diverse range of individuals in the process. I also love learning from those around me, whether that be from one of our beautiful OT’s teaching me about interoception or from a client’s experience with previous service providers and how I can ensure their time with us is more meaningful.

What’s your favourite food?

Cheese. Anything and everything that has cheese involved. Crispy on potatoes, soft on crackers, saucy over chips - the list goes on.

What's a fun fact people might not know?

More than anything in the world, I would love to hold a duckling.
